Ordering Information

Multiple Shipping Addresses

If you are ordering multiple quantities of the same item and wish to send them to different addresses, make sure to add each item to your cart separately. You will be able to specify the different addresses during the checkout process.

Sales Tax

We do not collect sales tax at this time

Payment Options

The Big Top accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express via Paypal. Debit cards with the Visa or Mastercard logo also accepted via Paypal.

Order Confirmation

You will receive two email confirmations from us after ordering. One will confirm receipt of your order. The other will notify you when your order has shipped and will include a tracking number. Please note: if you ordered furniture items or items that ship directly from the manufacturer you will not receive a shipping confirmation.

Cancellations

The Big Top works to ship orders as quickly as possible. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel your order after it has been placed. Email us ASAP and we will attempt to cancel your order. If your order has already shipped, please see our Returns policy for further instructions.

Shipping

Shipping and Handling Information

Items ship within one business day unless otherwise noted in the product description. Packages are only shipped Monday - Friday, excluding holidays. If an order is placed for Fed Ex 2-day or 3-day the order must be received by The Big Top by 11 a.m. CST for it to be received within those specifications. For example: if an order is placed for 2-day by 11 a.m. on Monday it will arrive on Wednesday, if it is placed after 11 a.m. on Monday it will arrive on Thursday. The same principle applies to 3-day. Please be aware that payment issues and invalid billing address information will delay processing and shipment of your order.

Transit time depends on the recipient's location and the method of shipping selected or required. Only business days are included in the transit time while Sundays and holidays are not. Please be sure to request the proper shipping method for your needs, particularly if you have ordered an item that does not ship the next business day. You will need to add the days required for shipment to the transit time for these items. If your purchase arrives damaged, please retain all packaging materials and contact us within one week of delivery to arrange for a replacement.

If delivery of a package is refused, rejected, or returned for delivery failure for any reason, we reserve the right to charge your credit card for both outbound and inbound shipping charges as well as any additional charges that we incur as a result.

Freight Charges and Information

Larger furniture requires special consideration in shipping and delivery. Because these items are oversized and heavy we must ship them via freight. Furniture shipments generally take 2-3 weeks from the time the order leaves the manufacturer. This time is in addition to the lead times indicated in the product description.

  • These oversized items incur regular shipping and handling charges plus a freight charge of $75.00.
  • The carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery time.
  • Deliveries are scheduled within a 4-hour window, Monday - Friday, during normal business hours.
  • Failure to meet the driver during your scheduled delivery window may result in an additional charge.
  • If delivery cannot be scheduled within 10 days, applicable storage fees will be due and payable upon delivery.
  • Should damage occur during transit the suggestions listed below will help protect your Investment.
  1. Be present to receive, inspect and sign for your delivery.
  2. Be sure to inspect your packages for any damages BEFORE signing for it.
  3. If the contents are damaged please refuse the shipment and ask the driver to note the specific damages.
  4. A signature indicates acceptance. If you simply sign without inspecting the box and its contents then you are accepting the shipment "as is".
  5. We will not be able to file a claim with the shipper on your behalf unless you note damages at the time of delivery.

  • We offer Ground, Rush Express and 2-day shipping via Fed Ex.
  • All charges are per address.
  • Some items will have a surcharge added to the shipping charges because these items are larger and more expensive to ship. The surcharge can be found on the product description page and is added into the total at time of check out.

Returns and Exchanges

The Big Top Promise

At The Big Top we want to do more than meet your expectations, we want to exceed them. So, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return it for a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase.

Returns

  • We accept items for refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase.
  • All clothing returned must be in its original condition with tags attached.
  • Items must be in original packaging with all accessories and tags intact.
  • Credit will be given based on the original payment method.
  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer

Exceptions

  • Used items and worn clothing may not be returned.
  • Personalized gifts and monogrammed clothing items may not be returned.
  • Sale items may not be returned.
  • Holiday themed items and clothing must be received before the holiday has arrived
  • Custom made items or special orders may not be returned.
  • For health reasons, we do not accept returns on swimsuits.

Returning Merchandise

Please include a copy of your sales invoice along with a brief explanation for the return. Securely package your return and send it back to us via a traceable method with the shipper of your choice. We encourage you to purchase insurance for the original amount. We are not responsible for lost merchandise.

Exchanges

If you need to make an exchange, you have two options:

  1. Return your item(s) with a copy of your sales invoice stating the exchange(s) you would like. If the item(s) is in stock when we receive the return we will gladly make the exchange.
  2. Place an order for the new item(s) and return the original item(s) for a refund.

Additional shipping fees will apply for exchanges.
